Do you set up at the event location?Of course! Whether a wedding or other event location, we are happy to set the cake, cookies, and cupcakes up before leaving (unless you tell us not too).
-
Does Wild Flour Bakehouse do weddings?Yes! We can provide small 2 tier cakes, 1 tier cakes, cupcakes, macarons, sugar cookies and bakery style cookies. We are only doing small 2 tiered cakes currently due to space! If you are unsure if your cake request is too big, feel free to contact us and we can go over the details and let you know if it is something we can do.
-
What payment methods do you accept? We do all our custom orders through our website and can be paid via debit or credit card. Or if you prefer, our other methods include, cash, check, Venmo and PayPal. Depending on if our site is updating, we will resort to the (cash, check, Venmo and PayPal route for the time being)
-
Can I contact you via phone? We are a small at-home bakery and often work irregular hours every week, so we decided it is easier and more efficient to not have a phone line that we most likely would not be able to answer. All contacts should be made through our Contact Us page or via email - wildflourbakehousellc@gmail.com
-
Do you offer delivery?Yes! We are able to deliver with a small extra fee of $10+ within a 25 mile radius from our location. Any location further, may require pickup or a larger delivery fee. If you are unsure, feel free to provide the delivery address and we can take a look!
-
How much of a deposit is required? All custom orders require at least a 50% deposit, the remainder can be paid same day or anytime between the first payment to your remainder payment due date, which is 5 days before your event date.
-
Are you able to do any custom design? While we will absolutely try our hardest to do what we can to make your idea come to life, we won't however copy other's work to the T. Inspiration photos sent to us are solely used for inspiration and will use that to integrate into our own. Some ideas we may not be able to do, and in that case we will provide other suggestions that we can accommodate for.
-
Do you accommodate for dietary or allergen restrictions? While not often, we can do some gluten-free cakes and cupcakes, however please be aware, that all of our bakery equipment comes into regular contact with peanuts, pecans, walnuts, and other common allergens such as gluten, egg, and dairy products. While we try our best to stop cross-contamination, such as sanitation and washing all utensils and equipment, we bake ALL orders in a non-allergy-free kitchen. If you have a very sensitive or particularly high allergy to any of these, it is not recommended to consume any of our baked goods. Due to the lack of demand for vegan sweets, we are currently not offering that as an option at this time.
-
How far in advance can I order? You may order up to 2 months in advance from your event date. It is not recommended to book as close as possible to your event as we book fairly quickly and we require at least a 2 weeks notice for all orders. While rarely we can book within the 2 weeks, it is not guaranteed that we will be able to accommodate.
-
When can I collect my order? In our custom order form, there is an option to fill out your desired pickup day and time, in relation to your event day and time. Once your order is ready for pickup, you will receive an email stating as such with pickup instructions and directions. If you get stuck in traffic, or will be late, it is important to notify Rachel as soon as possible. As we run out of our home, we cannot freely rearrange times, as we do tend to do family plans outside of our bakery working hours.
-
Is it okay if someone else whom is not the person who ordered pick the order up?Yes! However that person in charge of pickup must have the following information in order to receive the order: Full name of person who ordered What does the order contain? (Cake, Cupcakes, Cookies, etc)
